Comp? Cardamone!
I was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, and raised in North Wales. I attended Catholic elementary school in St. Rose of Lima for eight years, graduating in 1988. In elementary school, I played basketball and baseball and was lucky enough to play at Veteran’s Stadium for an all-star baseball game between the city and suburbs, as a representative from Region 20. I then attended St. Joseph’s Prep in North Philadelphia for high school from 1988 to 1992, where I was a member of the Crew Team. I attended Boston College from 1992 to 1996, majoring in Philosophy with a concentration in English, graduating in the top third of my class. During my junior year at Boston College, I raised money for the Leukemia Society and got official entry to the 99th Boston Marathon. I completed the marathon in 3 hours 25 minutes and ran two more marathons in 1999 and 2001. After college, I attended Villanova law school and earned my Juris Doctor in 1999. I passed the bar exam and have been practicing law in the Philadelphia area ever since. My Italian-American father and Irish-American mother raised me, along with my older brother and sister, in a way that fostered discipline, humor, balance, and an appreciation for hard work. My father was a hard-working attorney who was the first to graduate from college in his family. He became a managing partner at the renowned Montgomery County law firm, Timoney Knox, and worked there until his passing in 2002.
In high school and college, I had many jobs, including jobs as a caddy on a golf course, assistant golf valet parking, a warehouse worker, a deli and cashier clerk, and helping out at my father’s law firm. These jobs were instrumental in shaping who I am today and why I connect so easily with people from all walks of life. They taught me to respect every job, every employee, regardless of “title.” But it wasn’t just these experiences that taught me this, it was the way my parents treated people. My goal in each PA work comp case is to maximize the benefits available to my clients as a Philadelphia work comp lawyer, treat them with the respect they deserve, and help them move forward in life in every way possible. My clients are not “files,” they are hardworking people who need help getting their lives back on track after a work-related injury. In my personal time, I enjoy with my three daughters, playing tennis, training in mixed martial arts, playing the drums, doing my podcasts, and traveling when I can. I love following the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles. Thank you and let me know how I can help you, a family member, colleague or friend.
